Charlotte is the founder of (Mothers Across America), a nonprofit organization that empowers mothers to achieve personal goals through goal-based running programs. As director of her organization, Charlotte received a national humanitarian award nomination for her visionary work to increase physical activity for women on a national level.
About Charlotte
Charlotte is a competitive runner and racer achieving age group awards in distances from 4 miles to 10K, as well in sprint-distance duathlons. She was a product tester for Nike shoes for seven years, where her leg appeared in the first Nike Shox ad. Charlotte lives in Brooklyn, but can often be seen running with her large black poodle in Central Park during the early morning.

Experience Hilary has recently joined the coaching staff of The Running Center. She is an Associate Professor of Visual Arts at Long Island University with a total of 17 years teaching experience in art and computer applications. Her deep interest in sports and exercise physiology lead her to pursue a Master of Science Degree with a particular focus on athletic women’s health and performance.
About Hilary
Hilary is a competitive runner achieving top 10 age group awards in distances from 5k cross-country to the marathon. She is expanding her interests to ultra marathons and multi-stage trail races. She was race captain for Front Runners New York and a regular product reviewer for their membership. Hilary lives in Manhattan, but can be seen running anywhere from Brooklyn’s Prospect Park, to Central Park to Rockefeller State Park. Hilary believes that switching scene and switching terrains always keeps training fresh and exciting.
