What a day! Thank you for everything, Mindy! Since the moment I won the raffle at the NYRR lecture, till now, I feel so lucky. The Running Center’s Marathon Training Program has been an amazing gift of life. You should feel so proud… you are an amazing coach! As I passed Mile 22, all I was thinking was “one more mile until I see Coach Mindy.” And there you were at Mile 23. Thanks again for all the support and love.

Thank you so much. Knowing that you had confidence in me has been an enormous help. Your words of encouragement along with your support and guidance enabled me to beat my goal….what more could a person ask for? I honestly would never have come close to running what I did without you and The Running Center. It was the best decision I could have made.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Your program, your support, your knowledge —it turned me into a better runner and into a woman who can now say she has run the NYC Marathon. I have learned so much about running and about myself over the past months. I met some wonderful people and had a lot of fun. And I owe it all to you!

Thank you for all of your knowledge, advice and expert tips. You are amazing! I have enjoyed training with TRC these past four months and look forward to being a part of future classes that you offer. As this is my first year of true "running" I am satisfied with my progress to-date, and am happy that I saw improvement in my time and technique in just a few short months. Next year, with your help, I wish to improve even further.

A big thank you to my super-phenomenal coach. Thanks for giving me motivation, kicking my butt to train hard and being there for me in all the tough situations. I couldn’t have done it without you!

Many, many thanks for support today and wise counsel over the past four months. I have improved tremendously, and it has been a great experience. Thanks for cheering today—I don't know how you made it back in time, but your cheering came just at the right spot, about Mile 23, pretty much where you need it most!

It’s comforting to be coached by someone whose feet have run the roads we’re being so carefully and thoughtfully prepared for!

Thanks for making all of this possible… running, Runditioning™ and goals becoming realities! Without ALL of the components of the training from you, I would never have been able to even complete the NYC Marathon. I can't say enough about how much Coach Mindy and the TRC Marathon Training Program have done for me in these past few months. It has been an unbelievable experience. The friends that I’ve made, the times that we shared, all of that is unforgettable. I am experiencing Runditioning™ and TRC withdrawal. But I'll be back!

Thank you so much for this wonderful program! I am very excited about having completed the goals of running the 6-mile loop in Central Park, and then to run the Half-Marathon. But the thing I'm really excited about, to borrow your words, is that I have truly embraced the sport of running! I never imagined how very much I would love it, and I hope to have many years of long-distance running ahead of me, including the marathon!

Thank you for all of your great support, energy and intellect! It's a great program and I have been recommending it to friends. I ran eight miles and it was tough. I had my head phones on and so I wasn't listening to myself breathe. Once I took them off it got easier. You are right when you say… “runners should tune into their bodies, not out”. So… no more headphones for me!

I am sending you a little note thanking you for everything. I really feel so indebted to you for so much. Running has become such an important part of my life and for that, I thank you!

Through the years
I think you do such a wonderful job. Your support extends beyond the running. It is something to look forward to and does wonders for self-esteem and I wanted you to know that.

I've learned a lot from you and I truly appreciate the time that you took to make sure that everyone in the program achieved their own personal best. Because of you and The Running Center, I've already achieved and succeeded my own personal goal of being able to run for a solid 4-miles without walking. I would now like to take that achievement and build on it. With your help and constant encouragement, I know that I can become a great runner.

I attribute the 2 to 4 minutes faster than goal pace for the Half-Marathon primarily to the Runditioning™ and form exercises. I really concentrated on arm carriage along with lifting my knees uphill and lowering my knees downhill. Also, I tried to incorporate belly breathing and relaxing my jaw as I breathed. Congratulations on opening The Running Center in March 2006. I know you will be a great success as you have the rare combination of competence and kindness.

Winter Session 2006
Greatest thanks for your Runditioning™ classes. Due to your running-specific exercises, the marathon delivered much better results for me this year—better splits and finish time than in my three previous marathons. Thanks for all the cheers at Mile 23. Best of all, nothing ever hurt. I felt terrific the next day and am still feeling great and looking forward to your next program.
