OVERVIEW
In the sport of running, the Physiology of running is just half of the sport. Sure, it is important to know how far, how fast and how often to run, so that you can improve your aerobic and anaerobic conditioning. But the other half of running—the Biomechanics of running—is equally important.

Created and taught by Coach Mindy, Runditioning™ is a strength and conditioning class that works on learning “how-to-run” by incorporating running-specific movements and exercises to improve running form and prevent injuries. The exercises are performed on functional training equipment, and with your own body weight and work on the following:

RUNNING TECHNIQUE ON FLAT GROUND, UPHILL, DOWNHILL
Overall Posture
Head, Eyes & Shoulder Position
Arm Swing
Hand Position
Stride Length
Stride Frequency
Gait
Pronation
Foot Position

OTHER FACTORS THAT AFFECT RUNNING FORM
Breathing
Stability & Balance
Leg Length Discrepancy
Q-Angle
Muscle Imbalance & Weakness
Arch Height
Shape of Foot
Body Weight

Running Surface
Running Shoes
Mental Awareness & Development

PREVENT & TREAT INJURY OF:

NOTES
• The 60-minute class is designed to accommodate all levels.
• The class is (mostly) held indoors at The Running Center, although we venture outside to add variety in comfortable weather.
• You may come dressed to workout, or you may change in our dressing room.
• We supply locks and lockers.
• The class is personalized as best as possible within the group setting.
• Although you may take one class at a time, it is best to take a series of classes to get the full effect of the conditioning.
