PRE-HAB CLASSES
Start your new year on the right foot!
OVERVIEW
Prepare your body for your next training program, while preventing injuries, with our all-new Pre-hab Classes. This 60-minute circuit training class includes:
• 5-minute pre-run mobility stretch (held outdoors)
• 30-minute run (held in Central Park)
• 20-minute Runditioning™ Class → Coach Mindy's signature strength and conditioning class created specifically for runners (held indoors at The Running Center)
• 5-minute post-run stretch (held indoors at The Running Center)
CLASS DETAILS
Date: Tuesdays: January 8, 15, 22 Time: 7:00pm Location: The Running Center
461 Central Park West @106th Street (Lobby Level) The Run: • Each Tuesday class will cover a different course in Central Park
• Groups will be assigned by levels and pace
• The run will be done by time, not by distance, so that all paces and levels can finish at the same time
• Intensity and type of run will be appropriate for each group and may include speedwork, hillwork, stamina runs and aerobic conditioning Runditioning™: • The indoor class will be held immediately following the run
• You may bring a dry shirt to quickly change into after the run
• No experience is necessary and all levels work-out at the same time
• Each successive Tuesday class will build upon the preceeding week, so it is best to take all three classes. But exercises can be adjusted for single classes too.
INFORMATION
• Dressing rooms, lockers and locks are provided at The Running Center • Please arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled class
• Strongly suggested to wear a stopwatch
• Running clothes and running shoes will be worn throughout the 60-minute session
PACKAGES
• New Years Package: Combine either of our Winter Training Programs (Half-Marathon or Beginners) with all three Pre-hab Classes and save $25
• Pre-hab Package: Take all three Pre-hab classes and save $10 (over single classes)
