NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases/Langone Medical Center
Coach Mindy sat on a panel, along with NYU's medical staff, for the Ready, Set, Go Marathon Prep clinic prior to the NYC Marathon. At a second clinic she gave an informative power point presentation on optimizing running performance.

Detect and Correct was the topic of this joint effort between The Running Center and Anderson Peak Performance. Dr Jeannette Anderson, chiropractor, detected asymmetries using the bi-lateral weight scale and Coach Mindy corrected the issues with Runditioning™ balance exercises.

Central Park Wellness
Back on Track, It's the Movement Not the Muscle with Dr Frank Gilbert, chiropractor, discussed how to stay aligned for runner-specific movement patterns and participants were treated to a demonstration of the Pettibon System of chiropractic. Coach Mindy added to the discussion with the benefit of keeping the body aligned for running and life.

Chelsea Foot and Ankle
Analyze Your Gait While You Respirate included Dr Ethan Ciment, podiatrist, analyzing gaits while Coach Mindy conducted breathing tests and exercises. 

Chernus Nutrition
Nutrient Timing for Peak Perfomance was perfectly timed for runners who were training for Spring marathons and half-marathons. Andrea Chernus, registered dietician, gave great advice on pre-during-and-post race nutrition. Coach Mindy guided the clinic with leading questions.

Human Potential
Run For Your Life with Runditioning™ included a clinic led by Coach Mindy on the benefits for runners, followed by The Runditioning™ 10, the ten basic exercises that will improve your running and your life!


Merrill Lynch
Healthy & Wealthy was a duo treat with Merrill Lynch leading the way at two NYC health clubs, Equinox and the Sports Club/LA. Coach Mindy discussed how your body can "stay healthy and wealthy" by understanding the principles of aerobic, anaerobic, VO2 max and lactate threshold training.

Acumen Solutions
Corporate Wellness was alive for staff at Acumen Solutions with Lunch & Learn Plus.


A+E Networks
The Running Center brought their Marathon Training Program to the staff at A+E Networks in 2012 and 2013. Of course we know that the NYC Marathon was cancelled in 2012 due to the Sandy storm, but the team came back strong in 2013 and crossed the finish line.

Sterling Publishing
The staff at Sterling were given a challenge by management to be trained by The Running Center for a race and they chose the Half-Marathon Program. Employees who crossed the finish line of the race were treated to the program by Sterling. Those who failed to complete the program (and thus did not particpate in the race) had to re-imburse Sterling. Now that's motivation!

NY1 News
The Running Center was invited by NY1 News to take part in their Health Fair.


Running & Radiance was the topic at this clinic held at Lancome's retail store. Participants were treated to a skin care evaluation by a Lancome beauty expert and Coach Mindy expanded upon the info, advising on skin care while running.

New York Sports Clubs
Talk about a trailblazer, Coach Mindy brought Running Programs to NYSC from 1994 to 1998.

Reebok Sports Club/NY
Coach Mindy was the Head Running Coach at RSC/NY from 1996 to 2004.

Oasis Day Spa
Staying Fit Through Running garnered a lively discussion at this clinic held at the premiere spa.

Focus Integrated Fitness
Focus and The Running Center created a Functional Fitness Analysis for runners using Runditioning™ principles and exercises as a base.


American Museum of Natural History
The Running Center and AMNH have enjoyed a 13-year relationship for the museum's Walk on the Wild Side fitness walking program. Coach Mindy and TRC trainers lead participants in a 1-hour group fitness walk through the museum. The program is held for 13 weeks from January to March, and meets every Wednesday morning. Additional benefits include having a docent enlighten the group with a 5-minute talk on a notable museum topic and the grande finale is everyone is treated to a healthy continental breakfast after the walk.

The Stride Right clinic was a big hit with both runners and triathletes. Participants were treated to textbook explanations from Coach Mindy on how to improve their running stride, while keeping injuries away.

Harlem Children's Zone
The incredible school that was developed by Geoffrey Canada had a blast when Coach Mindy brought a health and fitness class to the 5th & 6th graders. They learned about math and science using the marathon as a base of knowledge and answered questions about how many miles are in a marathon and what are the best foods to eat when running.

Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum
The Intrepid Museum held a Salute to Women Health & Fitness Expo. The Running Center held a "balance contest" at their booth where participants were timed to see who could stand on one leg on a balance board for the longest period of time. Fun & fitness!

Central Park Conservancy
Share the Park Day celebrated the 150th anniversary of Central Park and The Running Center ringed-in the anniversary with Runditioning™ challenges.

The Calhoun School
Coach Mindy was the proud running coach for the track and cross-country teams at the Calhoun School for three years.

New York Road Runners
Coach Mindy has had a long relationship with NYRR. She was a featured coach in NYRR's newsletter, This Running Town and has led several clinics including presentations to school children as well as marathoners. 

Keyspan (formerly Brooklyn Union Gas)
While working for the Brooklyn Sports Foundation in the early 1990's, Coach Mindy and BSF answered an RFP and won the contract to install a company fitness center at the headquarters of Brooklyn Union Gas.
