What is Runditioning™?

Runditioning™ was created by Mindy Solkin, founder of The Running Center. While coaching thousands of runners, Coach Mindy saw the need to work on the biomechanics of running, just as much as she trains runners to work on the physiology of running.

Runditioning™ is a full-body strength and functional training workout that teaches running-specific exercises to help runners have better form, prevent injuries, and improve performance. This one-of-a-kind, unique method includes a sequence of exercises, drills, and training principles, plus mental focus for better mind/body awareness.

Runditioning™ exercises include:

  • Strength exercises using little or no equipment.
  • Stretching exercises using the active-isolated method.
  • Balance, posture, and form exercises featuring the 10-10-10 Balance Challenge.

Learn:

  • Upper body form.
  • Gait and foot patterns.
  • Stride length, angle, and frequency.
  • Breathing patterns at different paces.
  • Techniques for uphill and downhill running.
  • How to develop mindfulness and wherewithal.

Location:

This is an in-person session in Center City Philadelphia. Location is at a private fitness center or at an agreed upon outdoor area. This is a strength and form session with a small amount of running. Arrangements can be made for a zoom session.

The beauty of Runditioning is that the exercises can be adapted for non-runners too. Coach Mindy will customize your training to match your goals.
